Outdoor Workouts: Stadium Fun

With the summertime heat upon us and fall just around the corner, it's a perfect time to take advantage of this nice outdoor weather. There are plenty of middle & high schools all around us for you to easily implement this fun exercise routine - stadium stairs. If you don't have access to a stadium you may be able to find a park or recreation area that has the same features.

TIP: Remember to keep hydrated before, during and after.

  • Run the stairs every step - and back down
    • 15 tricep dips
  • Run the stairs every other step - and back down pushing through heel
    • 15 each leg side walking lunges
  • Run the stairs every step - and back down
    • 15 push ups (decline, place feet on first step)
  • Run the stairs every other step - and back down pushing through heel
    • 15 Box jumps (jump on to first bleacher)
  • Run the stairs every step - and back down
    • Bear crawl for 30seconds abs pulled in butt high move fast)
  • Run the stairs every other step - and back down pushing through heel
    • 30 Wide legged squat pulses
  • Run the stairs every step - and back down
    • 15 Incline push ups (hands on first bleacher)
  • Run the stairs every other step - and back down pushing through heel
  • BONUS: End with 5 all out sprints for 50 yards (walk back and rest 1 minute in between each sprint)
