This summer fruit is made even sweeter by including it in comforting bread. Enjoy your slice warmed, toasted and even cold.
Freeze bread slices for re-heating later. Make sure they're tightly sealed inside freezer safe bags or containers. Microwave each slice for approximately 20 to 40 seconds, depending on microwave strength. Cover the bar with a damp paper towel to keep it softer.
Bonus: Make into muffins. Reduce cooking time to 18-20 minutes.
IFBB Figure Pro, Certified Nutritionist, Personal Chef and Mom
It’s me Gennifer Strobo and I have had a passion for nutrition and healing the body through food for over 18 years. While I’m a Certified Nutritionist and have been to culinary school I am also a mother of 2 college daughters, Type 1 Diabetic, 19 year cancer survivor and suffer with MS as well. This is why nutrition is so important to me. Our body’s want to heal themselves through food and that doesn’t mean by eating just plain boring chicken and broccoli.
